​  Hydrate, Hydrate, Hydrate


Approximately 60 – 65% of the human body is made up of water, so it’s no surprise that we need to hydrate in order to stay healthy! During moderate activities in moderate conditions, the average adult should drink one cup of water every 15 to 20 minutes. One tell-tale sign of dehydration is darker colored urine. The darker the urine, the more likely it is that your body is dehydrated. Try these Easy Tips to help you drink more water:


  •  Freeze some freezer-safe bottles, then take one on-the-go for ice-cold water all day long
  • Say “no” to sugar-sweetened beverages. This can help with weight management and cut unnecessary calories
  • Choose water when eating out to save money and reduce calories
  • Add a wedge of lemon or lime to your water to improve taste 
  • Carry a water bottle for easy access when at work, school, or running errands
